With 40 years of diving experience and a passion for capturing the beauty of the ocean, Claudia’s underwater photography showcases the mesmerizing play of light, shadow, reflection and patterns.
Based half the year in Greece, particularly Lemnos, she has traveled the world documenting marine life and exploring both subjects of culture and marine depths with her iPhone and professional protective cover.
Her work has been exhibited globally, including shows in Paris and New York City, including the NYC Durst Gallery space, the American Museum of Natural History, the Central Park Conservancy, and NYC Colombia University and beyond. Her subjects include cultural images taken in Africa, Vietnam, Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean including Cuba. She also dove the Blue Hole in Beliz, the largest underwater cave in the world. Claudia’s unique perspective and artistic vision bring her subjects, including the ocean’s wonders to life.
Her love for the sea compelled her to create a non-profit, with Greek-Americans, Lemnos Marine Conservation, where she hopes to create awareness about the protection of seagrass and species.
